Ka Lāhui Hawai’i Kōmike Kalai’āina held another Lāhui Updates on May 18, 2020 with the Nā Kia’i Pa’a leader, Alika Kinimaka, and Kealoha Pisciotta of Mauna Kea Anaina Hou regarding Mauna Kea and the current occupation. Ka Lāhui Hawai’i Kōmike Kalai’āina stayed busy during the month of May with the Senate hearings for the reconfirmation of Chris Yuen to the Hawai’i State Board of Land and Natural Resources and the Mauna Kea Restructuring Plan proposed by the Board of Regents of the University of Hawai’i. We helped to facilitate and inform thousands on why we should not support the reconfirmation of Christ Yuen and why we should not support the Mauna Kea Restructuring Plan.
