Ka Lāhui Hawai’i National Hālāwai October 13-14, 2017
Ka Lāhui Hawai‘i Political Action Committee (KPAC) held and facilitated a Ka Lāhui Hawai’i National Hālāwai (Meeting) held from the evening of October 13-14, 2017 at St. John’s by the Sea in Kahalu’u on Oʻahu island. It was attended by 120 participants and their ‘ohana. The purpose of the Hālāwai was to navigate a path forward for Ka Lāhui Hawai’i and to get feed back on the issues that are important to our communities to help formulate KPAC’s priorities for the 2018 “Hawai’i State” legislative session. After we have done a few more community meetings we will be reporting those priorities to the “Hawai’i State Legislature” and our communities as well as finding proactive ways to push those priorities forward.
