October 2019 News

Ka Lāhui Hawai’i Political Action Committee helped to plan, fund, and implement the Aloha ‘Āina Kūkahi Together We Rise Unity March held on October 5, 2019 in Waikīkī.  Over 20,000 people gathered and marched in support of protecting our most sacred mountain, Mauna Kea.  We worked for two and half months with a core group of grassroots organizers to plan this momentous event that culminated in the largest march in history in Hawai’i.
