UH Board of Regents Meeting Regarding Administrative Rules for Mauna Kea

Ka Lāhui Hawai’i Political Action Committee Chair testified at the University of Hawai’i Board of Regents Meeting on October 18, 2018 in opposition to the promulgation of Administrative Rules over Mauna Kea, a Mountain that is Sacred to the Kanaka Maoli indigenous people of Hawai’i.  The Regents voted unanimously to move forward with promulgating the UH Rules despite hundreds of testimonies in opposition.

Piko’oko’o Conference October 5, 2018

Ka Lāhui Hawai’i Political Action Committee attended the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Piko’oko’o Conference.  We gave out Koho Pono 2018 & 2017 Legislative Report Cards, a brochure on what’s wrong with the DOI Rule that creates a pathway for a government to government relationship with the US, the 2018 Gubernatorial Candidate questionnaire and information on why to vote “NO” to having a Hawai’i State Constitutional Convention.
